多么美好的雨啊！

在灰尘和燥热之后，

在宽广发烫的街道上，

在狭窄的小巷里，

雨是多么的美好啊！

它急促地击打着屋顶，

就像疾驶的马蹄声。

它沿着出水管道，

喷涌而下！

穿过窗玻璃，

不停地向下倾泻着，

雨幕迅疾而广阔，

还带着泥土的颜色，

浑如一条河，咆哮着涌进下水道。

雨，这倍受欢迎的雨！

How beautiful is the rain!

After the dust and heat,

In the broad and fiery street,

In the narrow lane,

How beautiful is the rain!

How it clatters along the roofs,

LIke the tramp of hoofs!

How it gushes and struggles out

From the throat of the overflowing spout!

Across the windwo pane

It pours and pours;

And swift and wide,

With a muddy tide,

LIke a river, down the gutter roars

The rain, the welcome rain!
